Correcting my Glider mistake …

Yup, I made a mistake and a sweet reader (Ms Bonnie) brought it to my attention.

I had Dad’s deceased year wrong.

The first thing that I did? Sand the #3 off. (Of 2013)

Do you know how depressing it is, to have do this, when you think you have finished?!

I had to re-stain to match the existing stain,

and, I needed to hunt down where I put the stencil I made with the date, so I can reuse the #2.

Side Note :  It wasn’t as sticky as it was the first time.

It looks a bit messy actually …

but I can deal with that since I know I will have to redo it at a future date.

Sometimes, you just need to know when to walk away and call it done!

Sorry, Dad.

Good thing he loves me!

I was asked to make and send out an email invite once for a committee Christmas party. My BFF and I had JUST had a conversation about how everything that committee sends out has mistakes in it that no one proofs it. Imagine my horror after reading and re-reading and sending it out when she saw I had spelled CHRISTMAS wrong. Sheesh.

Sometimes I have to sit and remember what year it is. Seems the older I get, the faster the years fly by.
Good job correcting it so quickly!

LOL Bliss, Isn’t that just the way it goes?! When I started writing it in my Silhouette program I was thinking 2012 but when I finished … it said 2013! I guess I just went on auto pilot. It just makes more work for me and another post. Ugh. What are you going to do? 🙂

Ms Bonnie, Thank you for your sharp eyes! I appreciate the fact that there are those who have my back and are paying attention! Time DOES go quickly, doesn’t it?! Don’t blink 🙂

I’m glad I’m not the only one who would do something like this! Oh well, we are only human – Thank God!

It really is nice to know we are not the only ones! It was just such a disappointment to think I was done and then … um, no I am not! It’s all good in the end. Thank you for sharing that it doesn’t only happen to me!
