A day of dreaming and … the St Paul Home & Patio Show
I have been taking notes over the past few days, of an idea that is rolling around in my head. I have been writing on sheets of scrap paper, gazing off into the distance while fun thoughts of what the end product will look like, and scanning the computer for what I need to make my idea a reality. Today, after the Home and Patio Show we were off to Home Depot where we picked up the essentials to start the prep work. You know … the “not so fun” stuff that has to be done before the real fun begins. It will take awhile to plan and pay for this new idea, so I am just stock piling right now.
In the meantime … I invite you to share with me what I experienced today …
It all started with … CAFFEINE!
So interesting … I could think of a few places to put these!
At this point, I should probably tell you that … Here in Minnesota, we wait for these shows to show proof that Spring will come! This year we are having an incredibly warm winter. Makes me want to get out and play in the dirt 🙂
They also have booths to buy things. The remarkable thing is that I did not buy a thing this year. I admit to holding one thing in my hand that I almost bought. It was only $5 but if I can make it I don’t want to pay retail. Hmmm, cheap or smart?
In the Garden area they had a place that children could plant a small seedling and take it home with them. These two little ones may not have plants that will grow (after what I saw what they did to them) but I think Mommy is going to HAVE to at least try to save them *giggle*
As if you couldn’t tell already … I fell in love with this area!
This family that keeps showing up in my pictures? No, I was not stalking them! I work with the woman in the picture below and we were hanging out getting ideas. You see … they are DIY people too 🙂
Oh yes … they also sold Swing sets and guess who was going down the slide while her sister was making a Home Depot helicopter in the kids area? Yup! This little one.
I hope your Saturday was spectacular!
I am linking up to the following parties! Yay Parties!!!!
