Thankful Thursday #3

I wonder if you’re like me? You never give a thought to your health until you are sick … THEN you wish you had it and kick yourself for not appreciating it. You just know that when you feel better you will so, oh so much more, appreciate it!!! And you do for the first two days when you notice the sun is out, birds are singing, and nothing (NOTHING) can get you down because you feel so good! Then before you know it … there I go … forgetting to appreciate it.

I said all this because I was recently sick … all weekend in fact … with the flu. You know the type. Body aches, low fever, tired, take some Nyquil so I can rest medicine. Today the sun was out, the birds were singing and I had so much energy! Woo Hoo!!!! I am shouting it from the roof tops …

I am thankful for my health!!!

I want you to know, even though I was feeling sluggish, I did accomplish some things. Here are pictures to prove it 🙂

I placed a bird in my flower pot. Ooooo!

Took pictures of Mr. Man taking down our Storm door 🙂

Look Chip … no storm door! 🙂

Mr Man is rewiring the TV area (in our basement) so that all the cords are hidden and the other components are going to be out of sight in the side bookshelf.

While he was rewiring, I painted the area around where the TV will be mounted and redoing this bookshelf. We have two but I only tackled one! I was sick remember? 🙂

I hung this in the hall upstairs. 🙂

I am a “Heart” girl.

… and last but definitely NOT least …. I pretend cooked with “Miss Precious”.

So thankful for my health! What are you thankful for today?

Hugs,

Oh, I loved your post. It was fun and inspiring and I loved looking at your pictures. “Miss Precious” darling. You are a lucky lady, indeed.

Did you tell Miss Precious to whip you up a batch of chicken soup?

We have to quit shopping at the same place… same storm with hardware (must of come with it huh?).

    Hi BJ,
So glad you are feeling better. We do take so much for granted, don’t we? Leo and I both had the stomach flu about a month ago. I had never been so sick for about 5 days! All well now, thank heavens. Your little girl looks like a sweetheart!
